What is a good wheel size for a skateboard (tricks and transportation both)?

I have a pretty cheap skateboard and i am planning to get some good wheels. i’d like to use it as transportation and do a lot of tricks with it. What is a good wheel size for both actions?

u will probably want to get softer ones, but durable…try getting ones with softer outer layer, but a harder inner core…
i would get around a 54-57…give or take a few
