okay maybe dyrdek is a sell out, maybe he does have an mtv show, maybe his is decked out in his sponsor’s merch, but you know what else? he uses his money to do things for the world of skateboarding. he’s designed like fucking 15 amazing skateparks across the country, and my dad personally met him one time and said he was the nicest dude ever to all his fans. if i got the chance to be rob, fuck i’d do it in a heartbeat
@cranalicious88 dyrdek is on mtv and has “sold out” but he just represents the child-like fun-loving aspect that got people into skateboarding in the first place. hes used his position wisely
