It is not that hard to find cheap airsoft electric guns and the best place where you can look for them are online stores. However, before you purchase any of the guns, it is advisable for you to research and learn something about them first. They are divided into different categories depending on their designs and operations.

Cheap airsoft electric guns are mainly responsible for the popularity of the sport worldwide. Each of them has a built-in electric motor which compresses and expands the pistol and forcing it to release. They use rechargeable batteries. When the gear is turned, a blast of air is created by the piston which propels BBs. These guns are so automated that they are capable of rapid firing a number of rounds.

Besides, there are also gas powered cheap airsoft electric guns which rapid fire using compressed air. The slide will also be returned back to its regular position by the compressed air after each shot. They are fun and may also be cheaper than those operated by batteries. They are usually priced from $40 onwards.

Some of these guns are also available in the form of springers which is the most common type of cheap airsoft electric guns. It is also refered to as the original model of airsoft guns. Springers cheap airsoft electric guns use a spring mechanism to fire. You have to cock them after every shot. They have simple design and thus, they are cheaper. They are also recommended for beginners. Most airsoft players own at least one of these. You can find these for a price as low as $20.

When you are looking for cheap airsoft electric guns, it is better for you not to focus on the word cheap. You should instead look for a gun which is value for money. It is the best if you can get one with decent quality and comes with a reasonable price tag.

You should have one of these cheap electric airsoft guns if you are big fan of this sport. Get more information about them at airsoft pistol.

The ancient Egyptian civilization holds the very first records of bare hand-to-hand combats. Further records were found among the archives and art works of the Greek and Roman civilizations and these evidently suggest that boxing was already a public favorite. This is because during these civilizations, boxing has already become an organized and highly favored public spectacle.

However, only during the 18th century did England popularized boxing as a sport and not a brutal and bloody spectacle comparable with those fights seen in the gladiator arenas.  But even in 18th century England, boxing was seen more of a bloody fight than a game. Nonetheless, this was the time when the first boxing champions were formally recognized and actually held titles in the International Boxing Hall of Fame. The so-called boxing pioneers then fought with bare knuckles. While these pioneers had already passed out of history, they laid the substance of boxing as a sport as we know it today.

The Bare Knuckles Era is essentially the period when formal boxing fights were introduced. During these times, boxers fought without restriction and they fought only in an arbitrary ring created by the circling of the spectators themselves. Referees and gloves were just about to be introduced so during this period, fighters fought for as long as they can endure. Fight then could sometimes last for hours for there were no time limits yet and they could continue through the next day depending on the arrangements between the boxers.

Also, rules were not yet present so the game was basically governed by the fighter’s sense of sportsmanship. Naturally, there were no violations for hitting below the belt or for using a small cudgel. Blood was of course present and injuries were common. The main objective of the game, however, is somewhat the same with the current objective- defeat the opponent.

This type of boxing basically remained constant before modern boxing came into scene. So for many decades, there were no rules, no referees, no guidelines and no proper trainings that boxers received. In fact, there were no considerations for the weight classes of the fighters. So heavy weights can fight with flyweight and bantam weight can fight with super heavy weight and so on. During these times, bouts were organized by way of sending letter of invitations between contenders.

The working class was first to patronize the sport until it caught the attention of the titled class and the royalty. Wealthy enthusiasts then worked to somewhat organize the fights by sponsoring them. It was during this time that rings permanently became a square platform instead of the ring of people who surround the boxers.  It was also at this time when the first formal rules were set by Jack Broughton, who himself was a former boxing champion.

Until 1838, the rudimentary rules as outlined by Broughton’s Rules were followed until a more detailed and more organized rule of the London Prize Ring Rules was put forth. This was followed immediately by the appearance of Daniel Mendoza who introduced a more scientific approach to boxing.

He was an English champion for four years and he helped recreate boxing fights, minus the usual anything-goes crudeness. And so, it was partially thanks to him that boxing eventually outgrew its marathon-like set-up, its crudity, and its characteristics that lent championship to boxers who were not actually skilled in boxing but were only cunning enough to defeat their opponents.

From this period, succession of developments occurred which led to the current system of boxing we have nowadays.

South Africa has a vast selection of activities best suited to those courageous men and women out there who feel the need to challenge their darkest fears. With a fine blend of mountains, craggy sea cliffs, boisterous rivers and vast wilderness areas, there is always a pursuit that can easily engender the fear factor.

Great White shark cage diving

Possible the one activity that never fails in creating gut-wrenching primordial fear is cage diving with Great white sharks off the coast of Gansbaai. This powerful killer has been perfectly adapted for the hunt and has gigantic jaws and several rows of razor-sharp teeth and is ready to attack in a split second. Clients are urged to get up close and personal with these terrifying predators by climbing into protective cages which are then lowered into the sole territory of these massive beasts – certainly not for the faint hearted!

Diving with Nile crocodiles

A new adrenalin diving experience has been introduced more recently on the Garden Route. It is now possible to climb into the water with 4 metre long Nile crocodiles and watch them interact in their natural habitat. Clients are, however, well protected by cages specially designed to withstand the incredible power of the crocodile’s jaws. Interestingly enough, the crocs have a bite pressure four times that of the Great white shark, so underestimate them at your peril!

Iconic Table Mountain abseil

Another firm favourite with the intrepid journeyman is to abseil off the iconic Table Mountain. Classified as the world’s highest commercial abseil, customers simply leap off a sheer drop and abseil 112 metres down to earth. Not only are the views spectacular, but it is possible to see the curvature of the earth while looking at the horizon of the Atlantic Ocean.

Formula One racing

For those seduced by speed, it is no longer necessary to watch longingly as Button and Brawn hog the tracks. Formula One fundis can now drive a race car in South Africa and experience the thrill and sublime swiftness of genuine F1 cars. Whether in Cape Town or Johannesburg, it is possible to spend a day at the races – but instead of being part of the ever-growing fan base, get behind the wheel of one of a selection of race cars, including the Jordan, Reynard and Birkin.

Bloukrans bungy jump

Yet another commercial record-breaker is the Bloukrans Bridge bungy jump, the highest in the world at 216m. Located 40km east of Plettenberg Bay on the Garden Route, the jump is off the highest single span arch bridge on the planet. If vertigo doesn’t bother you, then this one is a rush of note.

Fantastic Racing offers the ultimate corporate event in South Africa: the unique opportunity to experience racing awesome race cars – from road vehicles to F1 cars – at 3 of its top race tracks in Cape Town and Johannesburg.

In paintball a good defense is a good offense. Rubbish. If the other team come running at you from all areas guns a blaze, who do you think is going to win?

A perfect assault on the opposition team consists of two aspects: suppress and invade.

Suppression is another way of saying distract. About half of the team should be involved in this part of the tactic. When using the suppression tactic you want to draw away the opposition team from their flag towards yourselves.

This distraction is performed whilst the other half of the team performs the invading part which is where they enter enemy lines and get anyone else that is left.

When performing this tactic the suppression team should attract attention by launching a spray of paintball capsules at the enemy. This should get the attention needed for the distraction. The invading team should be nearby but also out of sight and silent, if you are seen then this tactic goes completely out the window. Keep low and don’t move until the suppression team has drawn out some of the opposition players. During this period the invasion team must control themselves from firing at the enemy beforehand.

Once the suppression team draw out the opposition wait for 2 minutes and the charge out making every shot count. Paintball guns are loud so once you have started shooting there is no turning back and there is a probability that you will draw the attention of the team drawn away by the suppression forces.

This tactic is not hard to pull off. Make sure that your invader team is well controlled and disciplined if you want this tactic to work as a uncontrollable invader team will just run out at the worst time and could put the whole team at risk during the game. Good luck with the tactic.

War games have been around for ages. They were used by the military for training. They would learn how to use surprise attacks and they would use scenarios to make the game even more realistic. So how did a military practice turn out to become one of the most popular games of all time?

It all started in 1981. Since you couldn’t run around shooting each other with real guns 11 people including Bob Gurnsey, Hayes Noel and Charles Gaines came up with the ingenious idea of using markers to shoot each other.

This soon evolved and the markers were developed to shoot paintball which were made of .68 calibre gelatin capsules. These were coloured so that each team could distinguish who they had hit (some people had their own colour paintballs to see who they had hit individually).
The game of paintball has evolved since. The guns have become better and now accessories like paintball grenades are now available. There are now various ways of playing paintball. There is capture the flag (capture the other teams flag before they get yours), king of the hill (only one flag and one team has to capture it before the other one does).

The size of the game has no also developed. It used to be the size of a basketball, but now has become the size of a wooded area. The largest game ever played was in 2005 which consisted of 3000 people on a 700 acre field.

Protection in paintball has always been essential. The pain of paintball is like being hit by an elastic band but because the capsules can fly at a max of 300 ft a second it is a risk not to wear protection. Protection includes:
•    Helmet
•    Chest Pads
•    Gloves
•    Knee and Elbow  Pads
•    Long sleeved bottoms and tops

Paintball has developed from a military practice into the 3rd most popular game (study done in 2005) in the world. The game is fun for all the family and injury rates are minimal as long as proper equipment is used and the safety rules are followed.

Racing and Riding with Pain

BY COACH MARC SPATARO

Unfortunately injuries and pain are common occurrences within the sport of ATV racing and riding.  Dealing with these issues can be challenging especially when deciding whether you should keep on racing or let your body heal and rest.  Many of the professional riders have no choice but to get back out there and race in order to maintain or improve their current point standings.  But there comes a time when you have to consider whether or not you are doing further damage that may affect you for the rest of your life.

In order to make the right decision I suggest that you use a medical professional to diagnose what type of injury and pain you are dealing with. Make sure you thoroughly understand your injury by asking as many questions as possible.  Write down questions that come to mind before entering the doctor’s office, sometimes hearing all of that medical jargon can be overwhelming and it is easy to forget important questions.  Do not be afraid to get a second opinion, especially if you feel as if your questions were answered vaguely and you still do not fully understand the injury or its outcome.  No physician will ever tell you it is ok to race with an injury but at least you can understand the severity of that particular injury and decide whether you are willing to take the risk of worsening the condition.

Some injuries may require physical therapy, make sure you chose a physical therapist that is familiar with our sport and has worked with athletes before.  Using a professional who understands the physical demands our bodies go through while racing will ensure the therapy given will prepare your body for future races.  I am fortunate to have a physical therapist, Dr. Morgan Johnson, on staff at my facility and he has also competed in several mountain bikes races and is an avid motorcyclist.  His knowledge and understanding of ATV racing has helped many of the Moto Pro Training Racers over come injuries and continue to compete with out missing any races.  Together Morgan and I assess a rider’s condition and develop a pro-active formula that will speed up the recovery process and strengthen the injured area.

Just recently MPT ‘s Bill Balance had a severe rib cage injury, one that would have kept most racers out of the game, ending their racing season.  Utilizing techniques to help reduce inflammation, relax musculature, increase blood flow, reduce pain, and provide support to the affected area, Bill was not only capable of racing but securing his 9th GNCC Championship.  To Bill’s credit it also takes a great deal of mental strength to over come an injury like this one, but this type of mental strength is exactly why he has continued to dominate cross country racing for so many years.

If you are suffering from a new injury or a reoccurring one here are several suggestions to help with the recovery process.  As stated previously see a medical professional and get a grasp on the problem.  If possible rest and recover the injured area until conditions subside.  Be pro active to help speed up the recovery.  Reduce inflammation by using ice/heat packs.  Soak sore and painful muscles in Epsom salt baths.  Visit a massage therapist who is familiar with athletes and injuries.  Massage will help to eliminate muscle tension, increase blood flow, and reduce inflammation.  Use prescribed medications or over the counter pain relievers to help control pain aiding in relaxation for recovery.  Provide your body with good quality nutrients in order to supply the building blocks necessary for rebuilding and repairing the injured area.  High quality proteins and water are the two most important nutrients to promote healing within the body.  Visualize healing within your body.  Your brain is the strongest organ in the body, use it to assist with self-healing, a technique that has been practiced for 1000s of years.  My Mom has survived three bouts with cancer, each time she was given a certain time frame for life, through her beliefs in self healing and traditional medical practices she is alive and well today.

Ultimately do your best to stay injury free, ride smart, wear protective gear, and try and to not take any extreme risks on your ATV.  As always if there is any way I can help contact me at www.motoprotraining.com! MS

Medic is a type of airsoft game that gives players who have been hit the chance to get back into the action once they have been “healed” by a player designated as the medic. Typically the game is played with the goal of team domination or death match, but there are many variations that can be played with medics. If you are participating in a skirmish using this scenario, be sure to learn the specific rules for being healed, or “respawned” for the group organizing the skirmish.

[phpbay]extreme, 6, “”, “”[/phpbay]

In a skirmish, the player chosen as the medic is usually either unarmed or lightly armed. When another member of the medic’s team is hit, the medic can “heal” the down player, who may then return to the game. The player who has been hit is required to stay down until the medic arrives in most cases, though depending on the particular game, sometimes a hit player is permitted to go find the medic after a certain period of time has passed. Players may be permitted to defend themselves with their airsoft guns while they are down, or they may not. A medic makes it possible for individuals to stay in the game longer, but there are usually limits dictating the number of times a player can be healed and return to play.

With the ability to bring a hit player back into the game, the medic is key to the endurance of the team in an airsoft skirmish. If the opposing team hits the medic during play, the medic is out of the game, and the other members of the team can no longer be brought back after being hit.

Some teams play the game with a higher degree of realism, with the medic imposing fake “injuries” that hinder players in some way depending on where they are hit. Since players are often brought back multiple times during a skirmish, playing airsoft with a medic can take more time than the typical ‘one hit and you’re out’ scenario. When you are getting ready to play a game of this type, be sure you have plenty of time and ammo!

If you are thinking about buying a paintball kit to upgrade the paintball marker or gun you currently own then you need to also consider buying a paintball package instead. It may end up being less expensive in the long run. But  we better first explain the differences between a paintball package and paintball kit  so you can make the best decision for you.

[phpbay]extreme, 6, “”, “”[/phpbay]

A paintball package usually comes with most of the equipment you need to start in your adventure. It will have a marker or gun to the non-PC crowd, and depending on which package you choose, can come with paintballs, a vest, a holster, maybe a mask or goggles, and even possibly a grenade launcher. The kit are usually specific and will have all of the extras for that type of kit but does not come with a paintball marker. For example, you can purchase a kit to make your marker look like AK-47 paintball gun. It would come with an extended magazine,  a barrel kit, the wood kit, and usually a vest or some paintballs. It will not however include the marker.

Now let’s discuss whether the paintball package or the paintball kit is the best choice for you. The whole paintball package will be the obvious choice if you are just starting out and do not have a marker or if your marker is old or damaged. If you have a marker and just want to upgrade it to specialty weapon, such as a paintball sniper gun, then you first need to make sure that your marker is compatible with the kit you want to purchase. There are many different manufacturers of markers and some of them are only compatable with their own kits. The good news is that if you have a versatile marker then you can get kits to make your gun into most any type of weapon from a paintball sniper gun, to an assault rifle or even an M-16 depending on what you like. The versatility of some markers will allow you to try different things such as being a sniper one day or using a machine gun the next. But remember that  you will need to purchase the whole package if your marker is not compatible or if it  is not in the best condition.

You are the best one to judge the condition of your current gun. You need to decide if age and condition will be a factor. You may just be at a point where you are ready to invest in a better paintball marker. If your marker is old or has rust on it or if you are just ready for a better weapon then I suggest  you get a package. The main reason is that you will spend less on the marker by purchasing it with a package than by purchasing a kit now and then trying to replace your marker at a later date.

Team deathmatch, also known as TDM, is a basic airsoft game type that consists of two teams competing to get the most hits on their opponents. Teams begin on opposite ends of the playing field and work together toward the goal of eliminating members of the other team before their own players are hit. Typically there are equal numbers of players on each team to start.

In team deathmatch, each player keeps track of his or her own hits, and team totals are calculated at the end of the match. When a player is hit, he or she signals the hit and goes to a designated respawn point. As with other Airsoft game types, players are expected to adhere to the honor system and call themselves out when they are hit. The rules and objectives of this game type will differ from group to group, but in many cases players who have been “killed” can come back into the game after a certain amount of time has passed.

A variation on team deathmatch is an individual deathmatch, or Free for All, which is a similar scenario except there are no teams. Last Man Standing is an example of this game type. Each player tries to eliminate other players without getting hit, which proves a challenge without having team members to help defend against enemy fire. Since every man is for himself, being attacked from multiple directions at once is common and makes hiding difficult. Though many airsofters love the camaraderie of team games, individual deathmatch games are fun and fast-paced and usually shorter in length than team matches.

Team deathmatch is one of the basic airsoft game types that is commonly played by beginners and experienced players alike. Games that fall into this category will vary widely on the details of play, so be sure to pay attention to the rules specified for the group you are with.
